Osmangazi District of National Education Directorate is a public body under the Ministry of National Education. Our Directorate established on 15.08.1988 is the official education authority responsible for the monitoring, evaluation and development of all official and private education institutions in Osmangazi, which is the 4th largest city in Turkey and the largest with a population of 850.000 in the center of Bursa.

There are 257 official and 186 private education institutions within the scope of our directorate. Depending on the duties and responsibilities under the Ministry of National Education Directorate, we have 8 departmental manager and one District Director of National Education in fields of education and training. Our directorate has been carrying out its activities in such areas; strategy development, human resources and management, guidance and supervision, primary-secondary and high school and vocational education, media and cooperation, measurement and evaluation, examination services and lifelong learning for adults. Each departmental unit has own tasks, responsibilities and human resources and they all implementing Projects within these units.

As Osmangazi District Directorate of National Education, we take an active role in supporting our schools in many local and international projects. Our directorate is involved in various projects as well as supporting our schools in order to increase the academic education levels of the schools, to adapt to technological developments, to recognize and implement innovative methods.

Bursa Uludag University, which was established in 1975 under the name of Bursa University and took its current name in 2018, has been successfully continuing its educational services ever since. Bursa Uludag University has 4 Institutes, 13 Faculties, 1 State Conservatory, 3 Graduate Schools, 15 Vocational Schools and 19 Research and Application Centers. Bursa Uludag University has a total of 2280 teaching staff. Project Office is responsible for Project Management. One of the directorates at the office is IT directorate which is responsible for coding, programming and robotics.

Bursa Uludag University Faculty of Education has been educating prospective teachers since 1982 and it is one of the mostly preferred among teacher education institutions in Turkey. Department of Social Studies graduates social education teachers. Key persons in this project work at the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies and the Department of Classroom Teaching.

FabLab

DENMARK

FabLab Nordvest is a Copenhagen based Makerspace / FabLab that has been in operation since 2013. It is situated in the north west part of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is equipped
with a large range of modern prototyping/manufacturing tools used for doing digital fabrication and product development. Among these tools are 3D printers, CNC mills, lasercutters,
plastic processing machines, digital design lab, CAD systems etc.

Fab Academy leverages the FabLab network to teach hands-on, digital fabrication skills. Students convene at Fab Lab “Supernodes” for the 19 week course to earn a diploma and
build a portfolio. In some cases, the diploma is accredited or offers academic credit. The curriculum is based on MIT’s rapid prototyping course MAS 863: How to Make (Almost)
Anything• Every year the lab conducts more than 100 courses for more than 1000 students. The courses range from CAD design to recycling of plastic waste.

The University of Maribor (UM) is the second largest and the second oldest university in Slovenia. Approximately 15,000 students attend the University. The number of research and
teaching staff is 1,050, the number of accompanying staff, which offer administrative and professional support to the teaching process and research work, is 700. UM has seventeen
faculties offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as full time or part time studies. The faculties are located not only in the city of Maribor but also in other parts of
Slovenia.

UM concluded adapting its study programmes according to the requirements of the Bologna Declaration. Since the academic year 2010/2011, University of Maribor is enrolling only
students in Bologna study programmes. The development strategy and vision of University of Maribor and its faculties is reflected in the range and contents of degree programmes
(learning contents are based on scientific research and artistic work of teachers). In the academic year 2016/2017, faculties implemented 27 vocational Bologna programmes, 55
academic programmes (1st degree study programmes), 71 second-cycle (master’s) programmes and 34 doctoral programmes.

Ireland, UK and we also have a satellite campus in Letterkenny, Republic of Ireland. We offer vocational courses across 12 faculties, courses ranging from entry-level to postgraduate
level 7. We also offer various Study Abroad Packages to help students develop their leadership and entrepreneurial skills, Continues Professional Development (CPD) and CLIL for
teachers.
