About

Under the coordination of Osmangazi District National Education Directorate, the ROBOCODE project is carried out by the best university and research team in places such as Uludağ University, Fablab Nordvest, LETTERKENNY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, UNIVERZA V MARIBORU, Academy for International Science and Research.

Robotics and Beyond Coding

The RoboCode Project focuses directly on improving the level of competence and skills in School Education by developing up-to-date and innovative educational programs determined by EU 2023 priorities.
There are some robotics and coding applications, but there is no standard robotics and coding knowledge and competence framework yet.
As a result, there is no meticulously prepared learning material to be used in the lessons.
The RoboCode Project provides structural solutions to 21st century professions and education systems.

Schools should more quickly adopt the implementation of STEAM-based programs, especially those involving teaching programming and coding, as such skills will become more important than ever. The reason is clear: digitization and the job market.

According to the University of Oxford, 47 percent of jobs in the US state that they will become fully automated within the next 20 years. This will lead to the transformation of labor and create new job opportunities.
There have been some projects involving STEAM learning so far, but our project RoboCode will allow teachers in the STEAM fields to work together as a team and learn the common concepts and differences of STEAM disciplines in a collaborative way. As the Robotics and Coding learning framework and competencies cannot be addressed without STEAM modules and learning outcomes. As a result, one of the most innovative aspects of the RoboCode project is that it complements and innovates the STEAM field.
